Nylema Nabbie, Partner

Before joining the firm, Ms. Nabbie worked as an attorney for Gittleman, Muhlstock & Chewcaskie, LLP.
Ms. Nabbi has substantial land use experience, including prosecution/defense of actions in lieu of prerogative writs on behalf of municipal and private clients. She has served as co-counsel to North Bergen Planning Board. Responsible for preparation of Resolutions of approval/denial, easement agreements, as well as all agreements related to land development process. Ms. Nabbie has extensive land development experience on behalf of private and corporate clients on local, County, and State levels. She has substantial litigation experience, including challenges as to the constitutionality and validity of municipal zoning ordinances before the trial courts and Appellate Division of the State of New Jersey. Ms. Nabbie is responsible for complex commercial real estate transactions, as well as representation of financial institutions and private individuals on commercial, construction and residential loan transactions. She is responsible for the preparation of public offering statements and registration of multi-family projects with the Department of Community Affairs.

Ms. Nabbie has served as Hillsdale Planning Board attorney since February 2014 to present. She has served as co-counsel to the North Bergen Planning Board from 2009 to present, West New York Zoning Board of Adjustment Attorney from November 2017 to present, co-counsel to Closter Zoning Board of Adjustment from 1996 to 1999, member of the Teaneck Planning Board from approximately 1999 to 2004, and Chairperson of the Teaneck Planning Board from approximately 2001 to 2004. Ms. Nabbie served as Director of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Land Use Section – 2009 to 2016.
