Mark Wenczel, Partner
Mark A. Wenczel is Partner with the firm and concentrates his practice in the areas of education, labor and employment, and local government law. Mr. Wenczel provides general counsel services to local municipalities and school boards throughout New Jersey. Mr. Wenczel provides counsel to school boards throughout the state with regard to the interpretation and application of myriad laws governing their operation including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, New Jersey Law Against Discrimination Act, TEACHNJ, Public School Contracts Law, Open Public Records Act, and the Open Public Meetings Act.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wenczel had a diverse and extensive practice providing both counseling and litigation services in the areas of Education, Employment, Commercial, and Construction Law. Mr. Wenczel has attended numerous IEP meetings and mediation sessions on behalf of school board clients. Mr. Wenczel has tried many cases before the Office of Administrative Law and the Superior Court of New Jersey. Mr. Wenczel has appeared before the United States District Court, the United States Bankruptcy Court, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Mr. Wenczel has served as an approved mediator of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
