Biography

Gina Anton is a partner in the labor and employment group at Cleary Giacobbe Alfieri Jacobs. As an experienced attorney and labor relations specialist, she delivers practical legal solutions to clients to ensure compliance and improve the overall dynamic of the workplace. Gina specializes in conducting objective workplace investigations to evaluate and analyze employee complaints of harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment and retaliation, in order to identify and remediate unlawful practices. She also uses the information obtained during these investigations to provide employers with practical managerial, staffing and workforce recommendations. She also provides effective counseling in a wide variety of employment and labor law matters such as wage and hour law, collective bargaining, employment practices and policies, employee discipline, and grievance resolution, all with a focus on mitigating risk. Additionally, she drafts employment-related documents such as employee handbooks, policy manuals, settlement agreements, employment contracts, and severance agreements.

In addition to her work at Cleary Giacobbe Alfieri Jacobs, Gina also teaches Business Communications and Sports Ethics as an adjunct lecturer at Caldwell University. She also served as the Manager of Labor Relations for the County of Morris. Gina is a member of the American Bar Association where she previously served as Vice-Chair of the Public Contracts Law Committee (YLD), Vice-Chair of the Entertainment and Sports Law Forum (YLD) and was selected as a Young Lawyers’ Division Fellow for the Labor and Employment, State and Local Government Bargaining Committee.
