Daniel R. Lagana, Partner

Mr. Lagana practices in the Municipal Law area and land use development specializing in representing municipal boards and private development clients. Daniel currently represents the Borough of Paramus, the Township of Wayne Board of Adjustment, the Township of Lyndhurst Board of Adjustment and the Franklin Township Board of Adjustment.

Daniel previously served as counsel to the Borough of Paramus Board of Adjustment from May 2018 through December 2018. He also previously served as counsel to the Borough of Paramus Planning Board for the calendar year 2019.

Daniel also has significant experience in the areas of insurance and civil litigation and represents clients in PIP Arbitration. Daniel was recognized as a 2019 Rising Star® by Super Lawyers for those attorneys who are under the age of 40 for his work in insurance defense. Daniel has lectured for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (“NJICLE”) where he has presented on issues involving pharmaceutical claims and claims involving the interplay between the Automobile Cost Reduction Act (“AICRE”) and Medicare.

Daniel is also an active member of the Bergen County Bar Association, where he has previously served as President of the Bergen County Bar Association-Young Lawyers’ Division from 2014-2015. Daniel also served as Trustee to the Bergen County Bar Association from 2015-2016.

Daniel also serves as a County Committee Member for the Bergen County Democratic Party. Daniel also volunteered as member of the Borough of Paramus Board of Adjustment, where he served as Vice-Chairman until April 2018.
